Winter Box League

Make sure to register early as we sold out last year. Please make sure to note both dates/times as each may be different depending on age group! Each player will participate in one game per week. A specific team schedule will be sent out the week before the session starts.

True Lacrosse leagues are offered during the winter as an opportunity for players to gain experience and continue developing their skills by participating in games. These leagues consist of only games as the training and practice experience. The leagues are considered "out-of-season", and therefore, we do not hold practices outside of the weekly games.

Session One - 6 Weeks:   $99

Goalies - 50% OFF!

Contact Adam Woodward for the Goalie promo code.

Please note that if you do not submit a "Team Request" using another player's name or specific youth or HS team that you would like to be placed on, you will be placed on which ever team is needing an extra so that the rosters stay as evenly numbered as possible.

What is Box Lacrosse and why does it improve your field lacrosse game?

Box Lacrosse is different from playing indoor field lacrosse.

  • 5 on 5 play plus a padded goalie
  • 15 players per team
  • 4x4 goals (regular field goal is 6 x 6)
  • More flowing game
  • No long poles
  • Goalies wear big pads

Advantages of box lacrosse over indoor field lacrosse.

  • Smaller goals force players to get closer to net rather than relying on outside shots
  • Not having defenders and attack stay back get you in better shape and make more well rounded players learning both offensive and defensive skills
  • Long poles learn to use feet and body to play defense and don't rely solely on stick checks
  • Goalies learn to use their body to make more saves
  • Learn the use of stick fakes and quick precision passing

Specific team schedules will be released the week before indoor starts. HS Players should plan on being available for all times in your age level as you may have a game on a different night each week.

US Lacrosse Membership:

Players that are new to the sport of lacrosse will need a US Lacrosse Number. This can be obtained by visiting the US Lacrosse website and registering. This is an annual fee and is required if any player plans on playing organized lacrosse during the year.
